Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm

THE JOB
You’d be working under the guidance of a mentor in the parts department of a Land Rover dealership, reporting to the parts manager. Daily tasks would include serving trade and retail customers, identifying parts to suit customer orders and processing orders.

Other duties will include:

• Advising customers how to solve a problem with their vehicle and which parts they will require
• Taking orders from customers face to face, over the phone and by email and arranging delivery
• Dealing with payments, raising invoices and issuing receipts
• Checking the availability of parts on the computerised stock system
• Obtaining parts from the storeroom or if out of stock, ordering them from suppliers
• Maintaining shelf displays and updating stock records

You will need to evidence a passion for the motor industry, be hard working with a keen interest to learn new skills.

Required: GCSE grade A – C in Maths, English and ICT (or equivalent) and one other subject preferably a Science. This will be checked.
