Liverpool Food & Drink Festival
We were one of the sponsors for the 2017 Liverpool Food and Drink Festival, which took place in Sefton Park on September 16th and 17th. We came to the popular event with our Land Rover Terrapod and showed festival-goers what it is made of on our purpose built assault course.
Luke Campbell, Boxer
We are proud sponsors of Luke Campbell, a professional British boxer from Hull. He held the WBC Silver and Commonwealth lightweight titles from 2016 to 2017 and he won a gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics. His long and successful career saw him appointed an MBE in 2013.
Firwood Waterloo Rugby Club
The Firwood Waterloo Rugby Club, located in Blundellsands near Liverpool, play within the English Rugby Union system. We are currently the shirt sponsors for the men’s team and kit sponsors of the Juniors. The team was founded in 1882 by brothers Sidney and Harry Hall and George Abercrombie. The club has seen its ups and downs over the years, but it has developed many players that have gone on to earn international caps.
Yorkshire Life Food and Drink Awards
The Yorkshire Life Food and Drink Awards took place on 25 September 2017 and we proudly sponsored the Hotel of the Year Award. This event is one of the biggest in the region and they are designed to champion food, drink, chefs, producers, suppliers and hospitality businesses in Yorkshire. The 2017 Hotel of the Year Award went to Rudding Park in Harrogate.
Established in 1879 Pocklington Rugby Football Club is based in Yorkshire. We are currently proud to sponsor the club, that runs three senior sides, two colts teams and eleven junior teams. The club hosts an annual Sevens tournament every Good Friday called the Pock 7s which attracts teams from across the north of England.
Newport Salop RUFC
We are also proud sponsors of Newport (Salop) RUFC; a vibrant and friendly club, providing sporting and social facilities for the local community. They are recognised as one of the leading clubs in Shropshire and renowned for their abilities across a number of teams, both at senior and junior level.
At Hatfield’s we love golf, and over the years we have sponsored holes and tournaments. Recently, we have sponsored the first hole at Low Laithes Golf Club in West Yorkshire. This hole features a wide fairway and you can use the church tower in the distance for the perfect line off. We also sponsor the 13th hole at the Waltham Windmill Golf Club.
Shrewsbury Cycling Grand Prix
Hatfields Jaguar is one of the proud sponsors of The Shrewsbury Cycling Grand Prix is one of the biggest road cycling races in the area. This year it took place in May and the Elite Men’s race was ranked at ‘National A’ level and the men’s regional is part of the West Midlands Road Race.
The Heart of East Yorkshire Awards
We were delighted to sponsor The Heart of East Yorkshire Awards hosted by the hull Daily Mail. This is an annual event to recognise the remarkable and inspirational people within the local community, and is now in its 5th year.
Moor Farm Polo Club
Hatfields is also one of the proud sponsors of Moor Farm Polo Club; a family run club in the heart of Baschurch. As well as hosting polo events and matches, the club offer tailored lessons to help beginners get into the sport.
Northern Farmer Awards
Now in its fifth year, The Northern Farmer Awards gives the farming industry in the North a chance to stand up and be recognised with an emphasis on future and forward-thinking farmers. We are delighted to sponsor this event that gives local farmers, suppliers, breeders and everyone involved in the industry the recognition they deserve for the tremendous work they do throughout the year.
Hatfields Scholarships at Shrewsbury High School
We have a long-established relationship with Shrewsbury High School, and offer scholarships to boys at the school as they enter Year 7. These highly prestigious awards are widely regarded as reflecting a pupil’s excellent potential, and are offered for Academia, Sporting Potential, Musical Potential and ‘All-Rounder’.
We regularly donate money to charity and take part in local charity events and gala dinners. This year we supported a much needed cause, the war in Ukraine. A total of £54,500 was raised following the auction of a Series II Land Rover in order to buy medical and relief supplies for those on the front line.
