Trainee Sales/Accounts Administrator

Salary: £9.25 per hour

Permanent, Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

Computer literacy is essential & administration experience is desirable. Experience within the Motor Trade and of the Pinnacle system would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

THE JOB

As a Trainee Sales/Accounts Administrator working for the prestigious Jaguar Land Rover brand, you will be an integral part of the administration division ensuring that both the sales and accounts departments operate efficiently thorough the accurate and timely processing of administrative processes. This is a hybrid role which involves aspects of both sales administration and basic accounting. You will ensure the efficient administration of all new and used vehicles, providing an excellent support service to the sales and accounts functions whilst complying with our quality standards, policies and procedures.

The main duties within this role will be:

  • Sales and Purchase ledger processing
  • Daily bank and bank statement processing
  • Bank and control accounts reconciliations
  • Aspects of credit control
  • General administration to support the Sales Admin team
  • Ordering new vehicles
  • Registering, taxing and invoicing for vehicles and products
  • Arranging funding for used vehicles and removing it when sold
  • Processing paperwork on a timely basis

SKILLS

  • Have excellent administrative and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be a friendly, helpful and flexible team player
  • Be able to interpret difficult and intricate information
  • Have an excellent attention to detail and possess good organisational skills
  • Be self-motivated
