Jaguar XE and XF – Duo wins big at Auto Express Awards 2015

Director of Design Ian Callum, and the entire Jaguar family, had plenty to celebrate earlier this month, when both the Jaguar XE and XF picked up prizes at the Auto Express Awards 2015, in London.

Callum was on hand to accept Best Compact Executive for the Jaguar XE and the Design Award for the Jaguar XF, as voted for by Auto Express readers.

Steve Fowler, Editor-in-Chief of Auto Express, presented the award for Best Compact Executive for the Jaguar XE. He said:

“There are few sectors as competitive as the compact executive class so it’s testament to Jaguar that its new XE wins the Auto Express Best Compact Executive Award for 2015. It’s beaten multi-award winning rivals to take the title, impressing us with its sense of occasion, its efficiency, its technology and the fact that it’s just great fun to drive. It’s a compact exec without compromises.”

Incredibly, this isn’t the only award picked up so far by the Jaguar XE, which has only been around since June but already cemented its place as a leader in the field. Other prizes that the XE has picked up so far include Car of the Year and Best Business Car at the Telegraph Awards, Best New Car at the Fleet World Awards and Best Large Car at the Diesel Car Magazine Awards.

Best of all, it wasn’t Jaguar’s only winner on the night as the Jaguar XF picked up the Design Award.

The car won’t hit the road until late August, but when it does it will bring with it unrivalled refinement and dynamics, including the lowest CO2 emissions of any non-hybrid car of its kind.

The Jaguar XE is currently available to test drive at Hatfields and a wide range of excellent approved used Jaguar cars are also available right now. Find out more at
