Three is the magic number for Hyundai and the Motor Trader Awards
Hyundai has had plenty to celebrate this month, not least its recognition at Motor Trader Awards, where the manufacturer was named Carmaker of the Year for the third time in less than a decade.
The award was recognition for Hyundai’s sales success, customer service standards and also the popularity of its latest designs.
Carmaker of the Year 2015 was voted for by a panel of judges. Speaking on their behalf, Motor Trader editor Curtis Hutchinson said: “For the third time in six years, Hyundai Motor UK has won Motor Trader’s Carmaker of the Year Award in recognition of its sales success, desirable new models, focus on customer care and its close and profitable relationships with its dealer network. Hyundai’s expanded model range covers all the key market sectors and is one of the freshest looking line-ups in UK showrooms and the brand’s results speak for themselves. The Company recorded best-ever sales of just over 82,000 in 2014 up 25 per cent since 2010 and this year is looking set to better that.”
Hyundai last won Carmaker of the Year in 2011 and also won the prize in 2010. Hyundai has also announced its best ever half-year sales in Europe, after generating more than 237,000 registrations in Europe during the first 6 months of the year. Sales were driven by a number of new products.
So far this year the manufacturer has launched a number of brand new models, including the new generation i20, the i20 Coupe, the new i30, i30 Turbo and i40.
All of these brand new cars are available to view right now in your local Hatfields Hyundai centre. In addition a wide variety of quality approved used Hyundai cars are also available. Find out more at https://hatfields.co.uk/hyundai/.
Three is also the magic number in the latest video in a series of comedy clips on the Hyundai Youtube page. In the latest episode of the series, hapless Hyundai salesman George gets stuck in the middle of a bickering couple, who take their competition to the extreme. The big question is: will they go for the i20 or the i20 Coupe?
If they don’t kiss and make up, they could be driving away separately. Check out the clip right here.
