Latest news

I hope you all had a good Easter. It’s been a really busy start to the year for Hatfields and Jaguar. Hot on the heels of the launch of the new ’17 plate, we were informed that Jaguar Land Rover has once again been named the largest automotive manufacturer in Britain, accounting for more than 30% of all domestic car production last year. Jaguar Land Rover’s three vehicle manufacturing plants in Liverpool and the West Midlands increased the company’s UK production output 8% over the previous year to 544,401. Jaguar Land Rover vehicles account for five of the top ten British best-sellers globally.

The latest figures further demonstrate the dramatic transformation undergone by Jaguar Land Rover, which has increased production from its British plants by more than 240% since 2009, when total annual production stood at 158,000 units.

In other news the Jaguar F-PACE won two awards at the 2017 World Car Awards. We also have a new addition to the F-TYPE range, a four cylinder version – a pure sports car

with even greater agility and efficiency (more details on both stories inside).

Finally, I’d also like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the new General Sales Manager at Hatfields Jaguar Hull, Richard Frost.

Thank you for your continued custom.

Gareth Williams, Managing Director, Hatfields
