JLR Drivers Gain Access to More Than 1 Million Public Charging Points Across Europe

Jaguar Land Rover has announced a new partnership with Digital Charging Solutions (DCS), giving Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle drivers access to one of Europe’s largest public charging networks.

A Smarter, Easier Charging Experience

From July, customers can access more than one million public charging points across the UK and 29 European countries through a simple, integrated charging solution. Through the InControl Remote app, and future JLR mobile applications, customers will be able to locate nearby charging stations, check charger availability, view charging speeds, navigate directly to charging locations and manage payments through a single account. This seamless approach removes the need for multiple charging apps and payment methods, making charging an electric vehicle more convenient than ever.

Complimentary Charging Card Included

Customers purchasing a new or Approved Used Jaguar Land Rover hybrid or electric vehicle will receive a complimentary branded charging card, providing access to the extensive charging network across the UK and Europe. Existing customers will also be able to order a charging card through their retailer or directly via the app, ensuring all eligible drivers can take advantage of the new service.

Confidence to Travel Further

Spanning major cities, rural areas and popular holiday destinations, the network has been designed to give drivers greater confidence when travelling longer distances. Whether you’re commuting to work, heading away for the weekend or embarking on a European road trip, finding and accessing public charging points will be simpler than ever. The integrated charging solution has been developed to enhance the ownership experience for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle drivers, helping customers spend less time planning their charging stops and more time enjoying the journey.
