Refined Design, Intelligent Power: The OMODA 7 Lands in the UK

Omoda UK has announced that its latest mid-size SUV, the Omoda 7, will hit showrooms from January 2026. Prices start at £29,915 for the petrol model and £32,000 for the plug-in hybrid. Positioned between the compact Omoda 5 and the flagship Omoda 9, the Omoda 7 will be available in two specification grades, Knight and Noble, and with two powertrain options.

Buyers can choose between a 1.6-litre TGDI petrol engine or an advanced plug-in hybrid system that pairs an 18.3 kWh battery with a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The hybrid delivers 204 PS and 365 Nm of torque, offers a WLTP range of over 700 miles (including 56 miles in EV-only mode), and can fast-charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. CO₂ emissions are as low as 23 g/km, making it one of the most efficient SUVs in its class.

For those opting for petrol power, the 1.6-litre TGDI engine produces 147 PS and 275 Nm, achieving 0–62 mph in 10.4 seconds with a top speed of 118 mph.

The Knight trim sets a strong foundation with features like dual-zone air conditioning, a heated eco-leather steering wheel, a six-speaker SONY audio system, cooled wireless phone charging, and stylish 19-inch alloy wheels. Stepping up to Noble adds even more luxury, including 20-inch alloys, a 12-speaker SONY system, a power tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and heated and ventilated front seats for ultimate comfort.

Across all models, technology takes centre stage with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital display, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 processor for fast, responsive performance. Connectivity is seamless thanks to wireless Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, over-the-air updates, and a 540-degree camera with transparent chassis view.

Safety is built in, with advanced features such as adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assistance. To ensure a smooth and confident drive, the chassis has been expertly tuned by Omoda’s German R&D team for European roads.
