We hope you’ve had a chance to read Gareth Williams’ note about the sale of Hatfields to Lithia UK. On behalf of all of us, we’d like to thank Gareth for entrusting us with his businesses, customers and employees. We’re proud to continue the legacy that Ernest Hatfield began in 1922, and to take ownership forward under Lithia UK.

Our parent company, Lithia & Driveway, shares a similar tradition. Founded in 1946 by Walt DeBoer and still led today by his grandson, Bryan, it has always had a simple vision: to provide personal transportation solutions whenever, wherever and however customers need them.

As Lithia UK, we are now the second largest automotive retail group in the UK. Together with Lithia & Driveway in the US and Canada, we form the largest group of our kind in the world. But size is never our main focus. Our priority is always our customers, our teams, and the communities we serve.
