Defender D7X-R Takes Centre Stage at Major Summer Events

As the summer event season gathers pace, Defender is showcasing the very pinnacle of its capability with the Dakar-winning Defender D7X-R at two prestigious automotive events.

From 9–12 July, visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be able to experience an immersive Defender Dakar display, bringing the brand’s road-to-race story to life and highlighting the connection between the competition-proven D7X-R and the powerful Defender OCTA.

The exhibit will feature the Defender D7X-R driven by legendary rally driver Stéphane Peterhansel, displayed in its battle-scarred racing condition. Guests will also be able to explore interactive displays showcasing the extreme challenges of the Dakar Rally, gain insights from the Defender Rally Team, and learn more about the specialist equipment used in one of the world’s toughest motorsport events.

Adding to the excitement, the Rally Team will demonstrate the D7X-R in Goodwood’s Off-Road Arena, while Defender OCTA continues to support global media activity at Slindon Quarry.
